it should be here should be here but it's not what once was an egg looks like a knot it should be clear should be clear but it's rotting down like old discarded plans left underground "don't you believe in the future?" yr still here yr still here but we're gone like light on a rocket speeding across the martian sand & you can't hear you can't hear but it's deafening loud like the world's a wounded dog crying out in pain "don't you believe in the future of giving up? if yr not gonna do it then who's gonna screw it all up?"

blackflies 03:08
every fly on the wall is a voice that is waiting to find its voice and be seen and if it exists then it probably dreams everyone is a bottle waiting to be filled with sludge and love and hopefully more of the latter and less of the former but it's usually in that order and i'll die with the blackflies picking my bones in north ontario every shrew in the sand is a womxn is a man who is looking for trouble just by looking at all and if it floats then it probably dreams every world is a box that is waiting to be filled with lust and gold and no one is told which is which but we usually favour the former and the dirty thoughts take over and i'll die with the blackflies picking my bones in north ontario

what would you say what could you say of putting faces to names what would you say what could you say if no one came to mind what would you say if what you knew was yr not real and what could you say to a world that never healed what would you do what could you do if mirrors lit up the way what would you do what could you do to keep yr body aligned what would you do if what you did made no one feel and what can you do to a world not real

since the engine room's on fire now we're all doomed to perspire lose the plot and clear the way all alone in the cacophony secret parlour tricks exposed fix yr fake smile and compose hide the knife and serenade all together we disintegrate sometimes the ghost is better than the real thing
5.
the ghost in the field is telling me we are not real and love is the only thing making us feel says we are just atoms and atoms are made in the sun and the sun is a flicker that's born of a brighter one now it sees that our lights are fading out soon our bones will be seeping out into space with all of the dead souls drifting to find a nice comfy black hole the sound of yr tears will haunt my dreams for years but the ghost in the field is telling me i shouldn't fear says nothing is nothing but somethingness doesn't exist and you'd have to die first to truly comprehend this with a hole in our hearts we cast a strange shadow with our feet on the earth we're dancing in slow motion i'd love to love you but i can't remember how guess i'll be "walking that cow" into the sun won't that be fun...

pink & blue 02:59
as the light gets dim slip it in one more lizard in the pot one more tooth to rot as the price is raised throw away $60 on a drink the stench won't let you think far away the dust remains it lives close too glued to you pulling parsley from the trash a cyanide bubble bath saw a child in shades that are seldom viewed pink & blue keep her hidden and gold keep her from the old worrisome world out there

c the moon 03:16
tobacco smoke in the shade of night the ramen fits just right up yr sleeve like a secret tease or a sacred sneeze the light is loose enough to shape a smoker's cough so soft and true somewhere past cheap perennials a lonely millennial caught wind of this view she just replied, "true" her lips were bright blue
